We go the extra mile for you for premium hay quality! Our production process is unique and complex. Our Forest Floor is not the cheapest bedding on the market, but it is one of great, reliable quality.

High-quality hay as a raw material alone is not enough to achieve premium quality. Only gentle, technical drying reliably preserves all important nutrients, trace elements, and minerals. The original green color is also retained. We utilized this knowledge in the development of our Forest Floor bedding.

Together with strong partners from agriculture and our versatile packaging technology, an exceptional bedding product has been created. Unlike forest floor from other manufacturers, which is often only partially dried and therefore susceptible to mold, our machine drying offers two decisive advantages: The natural ingredients and essential oils are preserved. The bedding is guaranteed mold-free and extremely stable in storage.

The Forest Floor bedding is suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens & horses. It offers particular advantages for horses: The almost dust-free structure is gentle on the respiratory tract. The natural, skin-friendly materials can reduce irritations and allergies. The bedding relieves the joints with its resilient layer and facilitates manure disposal thanks to its strong moisture binding.

Say Goodbye to Bedding Changes – Extreme Durability for Six Months and More

A major advantage of this bedding is its extreme durability. It can remain in the enclosure for up to six months or longer, saving time and costs. Over time, a firm, durable mat forms in the lower area, which does not need to be replaced. The upper layer can be easily loosened, allowing liquid to seep through effectively.

Maintenance is uncomplicated: It is sufficient to remove soiling daily, refill a little every two weeks, and only about 20% of the bedding needs to be replaced approximately every three months. Even moist bedding can be reused after drying.

For the bedding to function optimally and unfold its full performance, it is recommended to apply a layer of at least 10 cm. Within the first one to two weeks, the surface typically settles by about 5 cm – regular topping up maintains the ideal height and ensures the maximum functionality of the Forest Floor bedding.
